For over 30 years, Jane has been bringing her creative vision and horticultural expertise to the homes and estates that grace the Hamptons. She is known for her meticulous attention to every detail of a landscape whether creating overflowing annual and perennial gardens, multi-seasonal displays, magnificent container plantings or contemporary, architectural landscapes . A dynamic presence in the East End landscape design community, Jane began her journey over 30 years ago working with a number of local garden companies, absorbing everything she could. She received her horticultural degree at Farmingdale State College, but has never stopped her education – being inspired by gardens and landscapes through her travels around the world. Jane’s work has been acclaimed and seen in such publications as Architectural Details,Fine Gardening, House Beautiful, Traditional Home, Martha Stewart Living among others.

Jane is also an experienced grower. 25 years ago, in order to supply her clients with the highest quality plant material she established on-site greenhouses at Wainscott Farms. Today, Wainscott Farms, started by Jane in the early 1990’s has grown to one of the premier landscape and garden design companies in the Hamptons.

John grew up in the gardening and landscaping business. As a little boy he rode in the trucks, planted the seeds, pulled weeds and had the run of the greenhouses, where he spent a great deal of time with his mother Jane. After receiving a business degree in business from Lynn University in Florida, John recently returned home to the East End to join Wainscott Farms and develop the Maintenance Division of the business. He is currently studying Horticultural at Farmingdale State College. John brings a renewed enthusiasm and perspective to the business.

For over 20 years, Arlene has played a pivotal role in the management of Wainscott Farms. She has been part of the company’s growth and visibility in the very high end Hamptons’ marketplace. She began her career at Wainscott Farms after a 15 year career in fashion design in NYC, and a relocation to East Hampton. Arlene holds a BFA ,which has served her well as she pursued garden design, but she continued her education studying horticulture at Suffolk Community College. Her passion for garden design and for being part of the successful Wainscott Farms teams is renewed with each new season.
